What Are CBD Joints?

There are a lot of terms used around smoking CBD. It is through blunts, spliffs, rolls, and joints. CBD joints are the simplest of the lot. They are nothing but ground marijuana rolled in cigarette papers. Sometimes people roll them with a crutch, which is basically just a stiffer bit of paper to hold the weed in place.

Unlike blunts and spliffs, which contain tobacco, joints contain nothing more or less than cannabis and the paper is rolled. 

The benefit of CBD joints over blunts is that you are not exposing yourself to tobacco or nicotine. 

However, smoking is hazardous to health, and smoking in any form is going to harm your lung health. Here are some facts that you must know: 

  • The smoke from marijuana can be as harmful as the smoke from tobacco. Smoking CBD joints can irritate the lungs. People who smoke such things regularly have the same breathing issues like that as tobacco smokers. 
  • Smoking marijuana can create air pockets in the lungs. According to data from American Lung Association, smoking weed has been linked to the development of large air bubbles in the lungs and air pockets between both lungs and the chest wall. This happens in most middle-aged adults who smoke a lot. 

Anything in excess can be harmful. If you can limit your intake of CBD rolls, they shall not be harmful to you.
